server is not offline, it`s under ddos attack? what OS do you guy`s use? can i please help secure the server against naab attacks?

Hello,
since the ddos attacks can't be prevented anyother way than blocking the ip-addresses. And since our computer is in a server hall and behind firewalls I doubth that there is any software what we can improve our computer security.
But thanks for suggestions and we will be watching these lags.

Thnx for your reply, but i didn`t suggest anything yet. I asked and i don`t get an answer...:S
Can you at least tell me what firewall your ISP use?
And don`t you have more ip-addresses you can use? That way at least you solve the problem temporary. This is not a good start for a new server...

For now we found the problem and it wasnd ddos.. some problems in a script
just for now we fix the buffer
